We ran an internal competition giving our people a chance to win a trip of a lifetime to visit Disneyland Resort in California as part of a year-long collaboration with Disney celebrating its 100th anniversary.

Our General Manager Marketing & Community, Jacqui Waine, said: “Our Disney100 partnership is delivering unique, inclusive and vibrant customer experiences in our Westfield destinations.

“As such an important brand partnership, we wanted our people to experience the same level of excitement and brand connection as our customers, which is why we ran a Scentre Group employee competition to win a family holiday alongside the customer competition.

“This is an example of how we want Scentre Group to be the place where talent thrives by offering unique benefits and supporting the whole person.

“We’re very excited to be sending Daisy Krahay. Daisy is a Senior Finance Analyst and we’re thrilled to offer her this opportunity to experience the Disney magic. Congratulations to Daisy!”

Daisy was excited to find out she had won!

On finding out she had won Daisy said: “This is such a lovely surprise! I’ve never won a competition before so this is a first for me, and what a first! I grew up watching all the Disney classics, so it’s going to be great fun seeing how they come to life at Disneyland Resort.

“After 14 years with Scentre Group I took a career break to travel Australia for a year. It was an amazing experience and I only recently returned to Scentre Group on a fixed term contract. Scentre Group felt like the natural place to return to work as the culture is a great fit for me. I’d previously had the opportunity to work across Leasing Finance and Development Finance, and currently I’m part of the Majors Finance team.

“It’s always interesting to see the new and different ways we engage with our customers and the celebration of Disney100 is a great partnership and way to reach out to so many of our customers that are Disney lovers – me included! I feel like winning this trip to Disneyland Resort in California has set me up to plan my next travel adventure, but until then I’m enjoying being part of the team again.”
