Scentre Group & QICGRE announce new Westfield development at Coomera

Scentre Group today announced, in partnership with joint owner QICGRE, that its newest development, Westfield Coomera, is underway on the northern Gold Coast. Anticipated to open in late 2018, the $470 million development will bring 140 specialty stores to the area, including Woolworths, Coles, Kmart, Target, and an Event Cinemas complex with Gold Class.

Conveniently located just 500 metres off the Pacific Motorway (M1) and next to the Coomera train station, the 59,000 square metre centre will transform the local retail experience, delivering a new benchmark dining, lifestyle and entertainment destination for the community.

Westfield Coomera is positioned to become the heart of the booming region and will offer a vibrant social destination for the Gold Coast’s northern growth corridor. The centre will feature entertainment, dining and large open green spaces for kids to play and the local community to come together and enjoy.

A bright, alfresco dining precinct will be the perfect place for sharing a meal or spending time together, day or night. The fresh food precinct will provide a market-inspired experience, featuring everything from the weekly staples to locally grown Queensland produce.

The fashion retailer mix will be reflective of the active lifestyles of the Gold Coast and will also cater to the whole family.
