Westfield destinations in NZ were awarded the Accessibility Tick certification in 2020, acknowledging our approach to creating inclusive places. The Accessibility Tick Programme assists New Zealand organisations to become more accessible and inclusive of people with disabilities.

Scentre Group has been named a Gold Employer in the 2024 AWEI awards. The Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI) is a national benchmark of LGBTQ workplace inclusion.

In 2024, Scentre Group was recognised as a Global Sector Leader for Development in the GRESB Real Estate Assessment, receiving a 5 star rating for the fifth consecutive year. We also achieved a Green Star designation in the Real Estate Assessment for Standing Investments and Development.

Scentre Group has maintained an ISS ESG Corporate Rating of Prime Status over the last five years and is placed in the 1st decile rank.

In 2024, Scentre Group achieved an A rating in the MSCI ESG Rating assessment.

Scentre Group achieved a 4.6 star portfolio weighted NABERS average in 2023.

Scentre Group has used the NABERS energy program to track the energy efficiency of our centres and benchmark our performance across regions since 2017.

Scentre Group is included in Sustainalytics’ 2024 Top-Rated Companies List in its region and industry. We have maintained a Negligible risk rating over the last four years and are ranked in the top 1% of companies globally.
