Scentre Group CEO Elliott Rusanow elected Chair of SCCA

The Shopping Centre Council of Australia (SCCA), has elected Scentre Group CEO, Elliott Rusanow as SCCA Chair for a three-year period. Mr Rusanow previously served as joint-Deputy Chair of the SCCA between 2022 to 2025.

Elliott Rusanow, Scentre Group CEO and SCCA Chair said: “I am honoured to be elected as Chair of the SCCA. I am committed to the SCCA’s strategy to advocate strongly for our industry’s continued growth, which is recognised as a significant contributor to Australia’s economy and social fabric.

Mr Rusanow said the SCCA’s forward priorities are to work with stakeholders across a number of areas including; retail leasing, competition policy, productivity, community safety and security and the role industry plays as key social infrastructure for communities and as part of the solution to housing supply into the future.
