Westfield Co-Founder and the Group’s inaugural Chairman Sir Frank Lowy AC addresses our leadership team

Our CEO Elliott Rusanow surprised a Scentre Group leadership forum today when he welcomed an extraordinary guest into the room - Westfield co-founder and the Group’s inaugural Chairman Sir Frank Lowy AC.

In a 'Voice of the Founder' session, Sir Frank reflected on some of the bold decisions he and his family had taken throughout his business life.

During the open discussion, he spoke about the importance of personal accountability in decision-making, the fundamentals of centre management for the benefit of customers and business partners, keeping your eyes and ears open to change and alignment between all levels of the organisation to consistently deliver high performance.

The team admired Sir Frank's quick wit and warmth. Another sage piece of advice was not taking yourself too seriously and have a sense of humour!

Experiencing today's session with Sir Frank was a deeply moving and remarkable opportunity for our leaders which included all Westfield Centre Managers across Australia and New Zealand.
