Cynthia Whelan announced as Key Management Personnel

Scentre Group today announced that its Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer, Cynthia Whelan will join the Group’s Key Management Personnel (KMP), effective immediately.

Existing Scentre Group KMPs are Chief Executive Officer, Peter Allen; Chief Financial Officer, Mark Bloom; and Chief Operating Officer, Greg Miles.

Cynthia joined Scentre Group in February 2018.  In 12 months, she has made significant progress on embedding agile and innovative capability into the Group and led a number of significant strategic initiatives.  She will continue to partner with all areas of the business to explore new ideas and emerging business opportunities and develop long-term growth strategies to maintain the Group’s competitive advantage.

Cynthia is recognised as a highly-successful transformational leader in her field, having achieved outstanding results in her career in investment banking and, more recently, the telecommunications industry in Australia and Asia.

Scentre Group will report its 2018 full year results tomorrow, Wednesday 20 February 2019.
