PCYC Youth Hub opens at Westfield Parramatta

We are pleased to welcome the PCYC NSW’s Youth Hub to Westfield Parramatta.

The Youth Hub will serve as a dynamic space where PCYC will offer programs aligned to its core mission which are designed to empower and support the local youth community.

Speaking about the opening, our National Community Manager, Pam Wilson said we continue to invest in and engage with our local communities.

“The community partnerships we participate in are designed to deliver shared value to our business and people in our communities through initiatives that reflect and resonate with them and that create positive outcomes - which is in turn aligned to Our Purpose as an organisation.

“We’re very pleased to support PCYC and welcome the Youth Hub to Westfield Parramatta. In doing so we demonstrate our commitment to supporting our local youth community.

“Westfield Parramatta is a community hub, and we strive to create inclusive and safe spaces that welcome a diverse range of customers. We’re proud to support the PCYC Youth Hub and know their programs will be welcomed by the community.”

The Youth Hub will offer PCYC’s Fit for Life program three mornings a week, which provides a safe space for young people to engage in exercise, talk about behaviours or struggles they may be facing. The idea is that the Youth Hub is open before school for young people to drop in and check in - while also receiving breakfast if they need it. Very soon, PCYC will introduce the evening U-Nites program and in Term 3, the Fit for Work program will be rolled out to the community.

PCYC will continue to work closely with NSW Police to roll out additional community-focussed programs at the Youth Hub, which at their core focus on positive youth outcomes.
