Scentre Group supports Friends of Western Stay the Course Walk

This week team members from across our Western Sydney destinations supported Western Sydney University’s Stay the Course Walk.

Stay the Course was a community walk that raised awareness and funds to help ensure financial pressure is never the reason a student leaves university prematurely.

Director HR and Western Sydney University alumni, Maria Stamoulis attended the walk with our team and was proud to lead from the front alongside Chancellor Professor Jennifer Westacott AC.

Maria said: “Western Sydney is one of the most dynamic and diverse regions in Australia. It’s home to many of our customers and team members.

“Western Sydney University plays a vital role in shaping the future of this region.

“We already have a highly-valued partnership with Western Sydney University, having established the Brian Schwartz AM Scentre Group Scholarship for Excellence in 2023.

“The scholarship reflects the importance we see in lifelong learning and development and is one way we are investing in the people and local communities of Western Sydney.

“The Stay the Course Walk was another way for us to proudly demonstrate our support of the University’s purpose to support students succeed and communities thrive.”
