Scentre Group was once again recognised as a Gold Employer

At the 2025 Australian Workplace Equality Index Awards, Scentre Group was once again recognised as a Gold Employer, marking the third time in four years our organisation has achieved this honour.

Our CEO, Elliott Rusanow said: “I’m pleased to report that at the 2025 Australian LGBTQ+ Inclusion Awards we were again recognised as a Gold Employer in the Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI).

“This is the third year out of the past four years that we have been a GOLD AWEI employer.

“This is a great achievement for the Group and reflects many years of consistency as well as growth and maturity in our strategy and approach. I want to thank all members of the LGBTI+ working group, our Ally network and our people who continue to live and breathe diversity and inclusion in the way we operate our business and more importantly, in the way we treat everyone with respect.”

Each year Scentre Group takes part in the Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI), a national benchmark of LGBTQ workplace inclusion. Our employer ranking is based on a submission about our inclusion initiatives and the results of a survey completed by our people which gauges the impact of our work.
