Our vision for reconciliation is to embed positive and sustainable equity and inclusion for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
This is aligned to Our Purpose: Creating extraordinary places and experiences that connect, enrich and are essential to communities. It also supports our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion vision “Everyone Belongs”.
Our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) 2024 - 2026 focuses on four strategies to maximise our ability to create change.
Understanding – build greater awareness, knowledge and cultural competence in our people to achieve our RAP vision.
Improving employment opportunities – embed and enhance an enterprise-wide recruitment and retention strategy to address the lack of long-term Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representation in our workforce.
Economic partnerships – embed and enhance our procurement strategy to increase and expand the number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses we engage with.
Community connection and engagement – continue to connect with our customers and communities in fulfilling our vision.
